A Cool Quotation and Some Cool Words

Here is something cool I read. It made a lot of sense to me when I read it. Unfortunately, I can't tell you where I read it cause if I did you'd think the quotation was lame.

"Anything outside yourself, this you can see and apply your logic to it. But it's a human trait that when we encounter personal problems, these things most deeply personal are the most difficult to bring out for our logic to scan. We tend to flounder around, blaming everything but the actual, deep-seated thing that's really chewing on us. "

And here are some cool words that I think are pretty funny...or just plain awesome. Please use at least one of these words and then post how you used it in a comment.

Today's words all start with the letter "C."

Cachexia: general ill health causing chronic debility.

Cacography: bad handwriting.

Cacology: bad choice of words (the irony here is beautiful if you ever use this one).

Callipygian: having a shapely buttocks (you get an extra point for courage when you use this one)

Catachresis: incorrect use of words, as in a mistaken metaphor (this is a handy one).

Collation: a light meal.

Here is a fun start...

I'm glad I can type this due to my cacography. Anyway, just yesterday I came across a callipygian woman who suffered from cachexia. So, I invited her to share a collation--sorry if there is any cacology or catachresis in my story.
