What To Do

Here's a dilemma, a conundrum if you will. What do you do if you have a shower that is separated from your bedroom by the living room, you forget your towel, and you have guests over?

This may sound simple but it's not. You get in the shower, totally unaware that one of the most trying puzzles of your life is only 20 minutes away.... you take a shower in ignorant bliss, and then you get out and reach for the towel and.....nothing.

You see, I had my towel in my room cause today was laundry day and I thoughtfully (and stupidly) took the towel out of the bathroom so I wouldn't forget to wash it.

So, now I'm out of the shower and I can't dry off.

I got a couple possibilities. The easiest thing to do is to just do the naked walk, lift up your chin, and with as much dignity as possible make it to your bedroom, dry off, get dressed, and call it good.

Unfortunately, this option really isn't viable since company is over this morning (people in town for my roommate's graduation).

Shaking like a dog doesn't really remove much water (never really works for dogs if you've noticed).

As you shiver with cold you stand there wondering what to do and you see your roommate's nice warm towels just hanging unused and you wonder..... but that's a line once crossed you can never go back.

Or, you can just get dressed while you're still wet and shiver the rest of the morning.

No matter what path you take it's not pleasant.

Tough call. Really tough call.

p.s. It's hard to type when you're shivering.
