Okay, if you guys have already seen this picture I'm sorry for the repeat. I just saw it for the first time this morning and it blew my mind. If you look at it close up it is Einstein, if you look at it far away (for me about 15 feet from the screen) it becomes Marilyn Monroe. Supposedly it works because we emphasize high spatial frequencies (sharp lines) close up and we emphasize low spacial frequencies (blurred lines) far away. So, when you step back your eyes change their emphasis and you view a new picture.
But, I don't care what the scientists say, it's still witchcraft

I'm in a lab on campus. I rolled my chair as far away from the screen as I could, but it still looked like Al. Then I took off my glasses.

CRAP!
Who comes up with this stuff....
This is SO CRAZY! By rolling forward and backward in my chair (without my glasses on), I can watch the picture slowly shift back and forth.
Bizarre....
Whoa.

what is funny is if you save the image since it automatically blurs it in vista it looks like Marilyn, but if you put the mouse over the image it clears making it Al.
It makes me feel a little dirty honestly. Does this mean now that I'm attracted to Albert Einstein?
